Érable is a worsted-weight, 2-ply Canadian wool yarn that's soft, lofty, and wonderfully warm. Minimally processed and non-superwash, it keeps the fibre's natural character intact—no harsh chemicals needed.
From farm to skein this wool comes from sheep raised in Western Canada, and is spun, dyed, and finished in Québec. It's a fully homegrown yarn for cozy accessories and heirloom pieces.
The wool used in Erable is pooled from farms in Western Canada and is certified as a fully Canadian wool product. Medium-fine wool at 23–26 microns strikes the perfect balance: soft and wearable against skin, yet built to endure. More substantial than fine Merino, it delivers comfort without compromise. This wool is next-to-skin wearable for most people. It has a hand that is slightly more robust than a fine merino.
